    Sadly, I was bringing up the rear on this one. Oh well, it only serves as motivation for the next time around.

    I jumped out to a nice lead in pull-ups but my woeful deficiency in upper body pushing prowess reared its ugly head. The push-ups and push presses did me in.

    For purposes of documenting my effort, I used 30-lb dumbbells for the push presses.

    My final time: 35:30

    Okay, this one looks nasty and was nasty. It didn’t really hit hard in the beginning but really sneaked up on you. At the end, I was doing the push-presses in sets of 10 and 15 – ouch.

    Time 26:15 with 30lb dumbbells for the presses.

    Too bad I didn’t catch it with a camera handy, but I managed to tear two calasses, one on each hand while doing the pull-ups. Sad, really, when you consider how much I struggled on them (I’m blaming Tabata Something Else, damnit).
