10/14/05 WOD

5 Rounds for time:
Row 500m
Rope climb, 2 ascents
45-lb Dumbbell thruster, 21 reps

While Jim took Team 6 and Team 7 on a running workout, I subjected myself to the above workout. I've let my metabolic conditioning slide a bit and really felt the metabolic cost of this workout. The rope climbs on the heels of the 500m rows were my undoing!

My final time: 29:06. Ouch! I know there are athletes out there far fitter than I, so have at it. Is there anyone who can do it in half my time?

Post your times for today's WOD to Comments.

It makes me happy to see the pull up bar bringing the pain to people I don't know.

Sadist. . . maybe - CrossFitter. . . hell yeah!

Congrats again on the CF Oaktown. Talk to you soon,

Dan, I did the workout with 45-lb dumbbells. I apologize for the omission and have since updated the workout to reflect the weight I used. Thanks for keeping me in check.

Jeremy, thanks so much for your help! We're putting the bar to great use. And the other section is ready to be installed now, too (hint, hint). Talk to you soon.

Robb, thanks so much. You and the rest of your crew are welcome anytime, of course.
