I gotta try that crossover technique that Ross is doing tomorrow. I'm seriously inspired!
I can't even see the rope but I sure can hear it.
Sounds like a Buddy Lee speed rope.

BTW, I'm predicting finishing that DL/rope climb workout in around 12 minutes next time, thanks to my new and improved "with feet" technique. Thanks, Candace!

OMG!?! What was that I just watched???? Are we sure that man is all human or is he really part transformer? Personally, I think we just witnessed a transformer emitting his super human power to bring the STORM because like Mike said, there was no jump rope that I saw. And if there had been a rope how could he have learned those skills without being a member of my 5th grade group Ropes of Thunder!?! Doesn't seem so likely anymore now does it. So calm down Mike, Testosterone Man. You don't have to out perform the super human. Another reason you shouldn't try to beat my time on the rope either because I too have super human powers of magic feet:)
PS. Thanks for your voice of reason Nicole on the Crossfit site. Hated the Africa article as well. I wanted to call you as soon as I read it but then remembered I don't have your phone number. We must remedy that at some point. Or maybe not if you would like to avoid angry phone calls every rest day.

Oh... and one more thing
Three cheers for Max on the HOTTTT video you made. It got me all excited for my next workout! Ok, nighty night.

$20 bucks says Mike can't do it in 11:59
I would like 19:59 min w/ a 225# DL. Let's meet back at the rope in six weeks pardners.
Any other optimistic types wanna throw their cowperson hats in the ring?

20 minutes; 145# DL--pardner.

846-3251, anytime, that kind of article requires a venting session

I did 40 rope climbs yesterday using my new "with feet" technique. It's taking me on average only 2.5 pulls to reach the top. Candace was there to coach and verify my technique.
I love the doubters--keep it coming!

You did say you were going to do it one-handed, right?
Posted by: Max Lewin at November 25, 2006 5:15 PM
Sam L. Kicked it in 20:34 as rx'd, a teensy bit faster than MM.
