but of course.

Actually, drinking the CF Kool-Aid doesn't have the same effect it used to.

So my answer would have to be D:

1. Take a metal spoon from the drawer.
2. Create a spoonful of 2 parts CF Kool-Aid and 1 part baking soda, with a little water mixed in.
3. Heat up the spoon using a cigarette lighter, bunson burner, or one of those handy barbecue/fire lighters. Make sure you're wearing protective gear for your hands--that spoon can get hot!
4. Continue to heat the spoon until the freebase CF Kool-Aid floats to the top.
5. Cease heating the spoon and collect the CF Kool-Aid freebase.
6. Smoke the CF Kool-Aid.

Be careful, one hit of this stuff and you'll likely become addicted. Use it sparingly.

Kool-Aid®? What Kool-Aid®?

Mike, is your recipe the origin of "Smoke you like cheap crack"?

(BTW, what other kind of crack is there? That's the whole point of the stuff...)

Actually, I can't take credit for that saying. But I can say that the addictive properties and similarities of CrossFit and of other mind-altering substances (CF could easily be classified as mind-altering, in my opinion) has been bounced around and joked about for quite a few years.

Um. I don't get it. What's "the kool-aid?"

then there is the Jonestown reference, except that I think their fav drink was Flavor Aid, not Kool Aid. Come to think of it we have all the makings of a cult, and from the way our conversations sound we are squarely falling into that profile, though I hope "the end" for me involves a 350+score on Fight Gone Bad..and nothing as nafarious as what happened in Guyana!

No, I have not lifted the Kool Aid to my lips.
What I have done is realized that CF is an AMAZING approach to fitness. All I have done is modify the WODs to fit my personal goals and added in a bunch of exercises not seen in CF.
