CrossFit Anywhere
Eve and I were away from any semblance of a Gym at Christmas, so we came up with a variety of workouts to keep us from turning to mush. Pictured here is a 5 mile hike with 2200' total elevation change carrying a 10# med ball and switching off carrying it every 2 minutes. Harder than it sounds, especially as there is 800' of vertical ascent in .5 mile at the beginning.
Post your most creative CrossFit workouts. Difficulty level: no fixed equipment allowed (unless you dragged a C2 up a mountain or something).

that christmas eve run you all saw the photo of. only lasted about a minute, but it was hard.
just did wednesday's w.o.d.
100m run, 1.5P KB swing x 12, 10 pullups. had to climb one flight of stairs after every run. got 7 full rounds + 100m run, 12 swings and 9 pullups! my 10th didn't make it over the bar and i was about to try for it again and the buzzer went! pure muscular failure at the end :( maybe next time.

I just watched Jonathan do the workout from my front window which gives me a tingle. I feel like the CrossFIt virus is taking over Oakland...
Jonathan: No way that was only 100 M Bro! More like 400 M! Nice work.
PS - I was kinda bummed out about my 50 lb weighted pull-up untill I looked at the trackback and realized my previous best was only 41 lbs! I'll be beating Mike in no time!
PPS - Candace got 50 lbs too, which is awesome as I've got 35 lbs on her and (theoretically) more upper body mass.

When I was in Mexico I did sprints (slogs) on the beach with pull-ups on the beams of palm-roofed beach bars.
Back in North Carolina I've used various tools and iron bars lying around my dad's shop as weights.

sam, good improvisation on the workouts.
max - i used runningmap.com and from my building to the one on the other side of yours is 50 meters according to their aerial photo, so I just ran there and back. i cut it a little short to allow for my stairs.
