CHIANG MAI, Thailand (AP) -- New Yorker Ashrita Furman looked around for a record he could break, and settled on doing the most squat thrusts in one minute. Then he decided on a place -- the back of an elephant in northern Thailand...

Wow, If you mean that you can raise just your pinky toe that's rad. In Dune that was one of the marks of physical strength and discipline that Paul Muadib was supposed to be able to develop after studying with the Benne Gesserit witches.

I can't see the video

I saw this. The guy holds many obscure records. We should grab a Guinness Book of World Records and see if there is one CFO can score.

Is anyone interested in running the Dipsea? I ran it last year in 1:30:14 and if I can get in this year, goal would be to come in under 1:15.

Applications happen on March 16th, race is on June 10th

OK, no offense to that guy, but that's basically the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Are we supposed to take him seriously about how doing the squat thrusts on the back of an elephant is somehow more special?

Oh well, I guess he's just following his dream....

have to say, my "rise pinky toe" trick takes the cake--ask, I'll show you!

I guess some people will do anything to get attention. Clearly, this guy should not quit his day job.

Nicole, how exactly is it that Mr. Furman considered "crossfitesque." Given, Chad often prefers to do his workouts on the back of an elephant, I feel that it's a little too much of a broad sweeping generalization for the greater CFO group, don't you?
Kindly,
Scott

I'm going to run the 5k on the back of Scott while wearing a pair of rhinestone covered cowboy boots.

It will be epic.

that was weak. i'd like to see chad's 5k on scott's back, though.

(I apologize upfront for taking this into the gutter but Scott just left it wide open...)

I heard Scott does his squat thrusts on the back of a sheep.

Kindly,

Mike
