POSE Running Clinic on May 5

We're going to be having a POSE running clinic on May 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The cost will depend on how many people participate in the clinic (e.g., if 10 people participate, the cost will be around $50 per person).
The POSE technique will lead to the following improvements in your running game:
* Radically improved form
* Increased speed
* Better endurance
* Less injuries
* Increased flexibility
* Faster recovery time
* Improved concentration
The clinic is going to be taught by Tim Hill, a POSE-certified trainer who lives here in the Bay Area.

If you're interested in participating in the clinic, either post to Comments or send us an email at info@crossfitoakland.com.

Time for WOD: 12:38
Mildly disappointing result. I was shooting for sub-10 but had way too many breaks in the round of 35 pull-ups (four of them, to be exact). Those breaks (and the ensuing rest) killed my chances. Ah well, there's always a next time.
Of course, this is the first metcon I've done since the fall of 2006, and thus it's only mildly disappointing.

I might be interested in POSE but it's unclear to me that it works at all on sprinting form. From the website it seems like it works on "running form" and not sprinting form. Can you clarify? I want to be faster over 10 - 60m. I don't really care about anything longer than that.

Yes, POSE, is generally applied to longer-duration efforts (think 400m and longer).

I'm interested in the POSE clinic, assuming that it won't cost an arm and a leg.
Happy Birthday, Nicole!

Happy Birthday, Nicole!! How are the workouts going today. I need to get back in and may be able to come after work. Also, did anyone have soreness in their calves after the last week's workout with the 50 good mornings? I was sore for two days and did not like doing them fast.

4/24 WOD (Linda): 50'11" (!!)
DL:100k/220# BP:115# CL:50k/110#
First time attempt and truly it's three bars of death. I scaled it based on my CFT, and then dropped the BP to be at 70% of my puny 1RM of 165#.
Weak point turned out to be the DL despite my 1RM of 330#. I did using two bars, never thought I'd enjoy the break from adding/removing the 25k plates. Hands are now a mess.
Happy birthday, Nicole!

Hoping you are having a fun birthday, Nicole. Enjoy the sushi! Loved the WOD today...major forearm fatigue for the rest of the day Did the one bar and four dumbells of death.
Sign me up for the POSE clinic please.
