She's Baaaaack!
We are happy that Annie is back at CFO working her tenacious heart out! As some of you may know, Annie broke her wrist during the last CF certification in Santa Cruz, but she's back in the saddle now working all of her available limbs. Welcome back, Annie!
AND
Tomorrow night is our monthly WOD-OFF (Overhead Squats) followed by food and drink. The festivities begin at 6p.m. and continue into the wee hours of the night...
Please come by and cheer the competitors, or better yet, throw on your oly lifting shoes and give it a go!

On another note, if anyone is interested in checking out some fun rugby/having a beer and learning the rules of a somewhat obscure game, there is a 10s tournament on treasure island tomorrow from 11am until at least 6pm. It’s called 10s because there will only be 10 people on the field (as opposed to 7 or 15) and the games are shorter. This is just a low key and fun way of trying to involve more people in the sport because the games are pick-up and the teams are mixed. In fact, if you decide to register with USA rugby tonight, you could even jump in and play! I promise, the game is very similar to getting your ass kicked by a CrossFit workout. If that’s not appealing to you, you could still have a beer or two and make some new friends. Anyway, if you are interested in checking it out, give me a call and I can give you more info...
