Blogosphere and Beyond!

Blogosphere as defined by wiki refers to the universe of discourse, and the perception that blogs exist together as a connected community.
A few dedicated and conscientious CFO athletes have created their own blogs, detailing their training experiences and experimentation with The Zone (http://www.drsears.com/). It's an incredible resource for any CF athlete considering getting serious about nutrition.

Does anyone have a link to tracks in the east bay where you can go to run? I know it's out there but I can't find it...
Found it: http://trackinfo.org/tracks.html
I tried doing the 400m X 4 WOD on a crappy asphalt track (in El Cerrito) in the dark tonight. (It got dark damn early all the sudden!).
I will never do that again.
On lap 2, coming out of the first turn at full tilt, I stepped in/tripped on a rather large depression, and fell forward, somehow managing to execute a near perfect roll and avoid major injury. Order of contact with ground: both hands, right knee, right shoulder, back, left shoulder/elbow/hip. Hands are amazingly unscathed, minor scrapes/bruises on right knee, left elbow, left hip. Ego appears to be only slightly bruised.
Decided to try again with daylight on my side tomorrow, hopefully at a better track.
allen, my two favorite tracks are:
- piedmont high (best surface, stairs too)
- above golden bear pool (cinder, views)

(may not be suitable for those who are easily offended.)
Good one, Allen!
That cracked me up.
Glad you liked it Mike!
Just got back from my runs on a real track. times were: 1:05, 1:13, 1:21, 1:20. total 10:59 with rests.
I'm psyched b/c 1:04 is "elite" level and I bet I could hit that next time.
OK, I'm starting to feel like I'm monopolizing the message board today...maybe I should just get my own blog like everybody else!

Just got back from my 4X400M runs on a real track. times were: 1:05, 1:13, 1:21, 1:20. total 10:59 with 2 min rests in between.
I'm psyched b/c 1:04 is "elite" level and I bet I could hit that next time. The 3rd and 4th runs were really hard.

PS Joe, thanks for the track tips! I ended up going to contra costa community college since it's closer to home...It's OK I guess, but a bit worn on the inside lane.
