Joyeux anniversaire Maximus!

**ATTENTION CROSSFITTERS***

We'll be opening the gym today from 1pm to 4pm, expanding our normal group class schedule, so that all of you can get your Linda fix on. Please take advantage of this time slot if at all possible.

All together now! (CFO singing to Maximus)

Joyeux anniversaire

Joyeux anniversaire

Joyeux anniversaire Maximus

Joyeux anniversaire a vous!

We would like to wish Max a very, very Happy 41st Birthday! In his honor, we will do the workout of his creation during Saturday classes (11/17)--it will be posted the night before ! Come ready to give it your all, and hopefully Maximus will grace us with his participation in either the 9a.m. or 10a.m. class! Paleo birthday treats will follow the 11a.m. class...

Max is in the process of opening his own CF box (CrossFit East Bay) sometime in early spring 2008--until then he will be offering community classes and doing private trainings. Check out Maximus here:

CrossFit East Bay (CFEB):

and follow his hugely successful body composition changes here (Zone/Paleo):

Post your birthday wishes (poem form only) to comments.

Give Max a birthday cheer,
For it's been a great year!

He started the year rotund,
But now he's having Crossfit fun!

His training classes have great tunes,
And his arms are as big as ballons!

Happy Birthday!

And encourage him joyously

Head-banging,
Ring-hanging,
Usually dressed in black,
Quick to suggest a snack,
His name is Max,
Check out his six pax (?)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MAX!

Birthday greetings to the man named Max.
Does he know the meanings of his name are stacked?
Greatest, pinnacle, all-the-way, absolute and farthest reach, to name a few.
I think he will find this very good news.
Max is the man who lives up to his name,
Happy birthday to him we heartily proclaim!

Happy Birthday MAX!

I'll be there for the "Filthy Forty-One" - Do I get to make it up?

I am hoping to make CFEB a reality by March 21, 2008. I am looking for a live/work space. It will be primarily a private training facility. I will also be offering outdoor classes (initially for free) in the near future. Watch CrossFit East Bay for details.

when max was a cross-fitting pup
in the crib he would pull and push-up
the first time he did cry
when his mom was nearby
she said "max, buttercup, suck it up"

Have a great one, Max.
