Melissa, who many of you know as one of CFO's most consistent athletes (with plenty to show for her consistent effort: kipping pull-ups, a vastly improved overhead squat, and the ability to do push-ups 'til the cows come home, to name just a few), had her birthday this past Thursday.

And tonight she celebrated it at Pizzaiolo.

Yay! I'm first! Happy Birthday Melissa. For the people who were not at the dinner...I was late, as usual, and walked past the table of crossfit women! I saw all these HOT, SEXY, AND-DID-I SAY-HOT-WOMEN at the table, and I just walked right on by--I was looking for track suits and hair in pony tails! If there was ever a motivator to keep on crossfitting, it was that table of models! A calendar of these women is totally in order! Eva T is in trouble!

As for Melissa: As a fellow crossfit 6:00PM female, I am consistently humbled by Melissa's ability to stay focused, push through, and perform a great WOD. For every pull up her head is over the bar or she doesn't count it and does it again! YOU WILL NEVER SEE MELISSA BREAK FORM. She is amazing and I am happy to work out next to someone who sets the bar so high!

And Mike: Just go and have your massage and leave Annie alone! ;-)

Thanks, everyone! For the ladies who couldn't make it or didn't know about it, we plan to have many more events in 2008. Spreading the word was a bit difficult for this one, given the holiday madness and all.

Mike and Nicole should be very proud. Notice that the only carbs we allowed ourselves to eat all night were tangerines....right, ladies?
