We discovered that more than a few of you are spicy wing fans, and we thought it a swell idea to have a SPICY CHICKEN WING COOKOFF on New Year's Day (evening) at CFO! For the purists among you, we will have created a very 2008 WOD for your enjoyment!

If you're interested in participating as a cook, post to comments.

Hmmm... By wings and beer do you mean a 3 to 4 ounce serving of chicken, followed by a large helping of sauteed collard greens and onions, topped off with few macadamia nuts? If so, then I approve.

I may well attend.

I'm totally. I love wings but have not heard any mention of the requisite blue cheese dressing (not RANCH). I MAY throw in the requisite celery and carrot sticks. BTW--Raider fans, try WINGSTOP on Edgewater--all they sell are wings.

I may drop in for the WOD and a wing or two, but we are doing greens, black-eyed peas, ham, and pinot noir at my house on New Year's Day. It's a Southern tradition.

So, from this posting I read: CFO is open on the 1st and there will be a workout...can someone post the schedule for the holidays? Thanks!

Count me in. Being a semi-retired cook of the famous Buffalo wing in the Nickel City itself, I will be looking forward to it.

I've never made wings before, however i am confident in my ability to thrash any competitors out there. Question, if i win, will there be a WOD named after me?

It would be a variation on the 'filthy fifty' and go something like this:

50 Wings
50 Dips into blue cheese dressing
50 ounces of beer
50 super spicy wings
50 dips into ranch dressing
50 ounces of beer
50 atomic wings
50 dips into parmesan peppercorn dressing
50 ounces of beer

Might be a puker
