We're Listening!

Since the precarious hanging of our "Suggestion Box" we have had numerous requests for additional weekend classes. So, beginning in February we will be offering a 4p.m. class on Saturday and Sunday.
We will also be adding a new Firefighter Class at 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday beginning the first week in February. This class is designed for firefighters, recruits, and aspiring firefighters. No worries, there will be no interruption to the regular 9 a.m. class.
***Please Note****
The 7pm class on Thursday night (1/31/08) has been canceled.

in case you were wondering:
Vasant Panchami is a Hindu festival celebrating Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, music, and art. It is celebrated every year on the fifth day of the Indian month Magh (January-February), the first day of spring. During this festival children are taught their first words; brahmins are fed; ancestor worship (Pitri-Tarpan) is performed; the god of love, Kamadeva, is worshipped; and most educational institutions organise special prayer for Saraswati. The color yellow also plays an important role in this festival, in that people usually wear yellow garments, Saraswati is worshipped dressed in yellow, and yellow sweetmeats are consumed within the families.
The Triodion (Greek: Τριῴδιον, Triodion; Slavonic: Постнаѧ Трїωдь, Postnaya Triod; Romanian: Triodul), also called the Lenten Triodion (Τριῴδιον κατανυκτικόν, Triodion katanuktikon, Albanian: Triod/Triodi), is the liturgical book used by the Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Catholic Churches of Byzantine rite during Great Lent and the preparatory weeks leading up to it.

While I agree with Daniel that T-Nation.com is an excellent website, muscleworship.com is also very helpful and informative.

I am going to give up on this whole CrossFit thing. Working hard and eating well are diversions for suckers. When you are ready to step up to the next level of performance, you need to invest $14,650 in a ROM 4-minute trainer. Bye, bye CrossFit! Hello, ROM!

The bf testing is already under way, but unfortunately all of the slots have been filled.
We'll be doing it again in the future, though.

It's freezing here in NYC.
