Hey all, thanks again for being so hospitable while I was visiting your gym. I had a really great time, and I'm thrilled that I didn't have to miss a WOD while traveling. I am glad to get back to the nice warm Florida air though! You're all welcome to visit our gym anytime you're in the area.

oh god, why me?
Seriously, though, the community does rock. I love coming in to CF not only for the "CF high" (see http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/27/health/nutrition/27best.html), but because of the friendly competition and encouragement everyone gives.
Unfortunately, I'm ringing the bell on the Throwdown with one day left because of my back. I'm going to take a week or two to heal up and then I'll be back at it. But I'll probably stop by now and then to cheer my 9am class on.

It's nice to see Brad without his hands on his back. Get a little rest and come back stronger than ever! And I have to say I haven't been this impressed with a group of people as a whole in a long time. It's pretty incredible.

In what other gym can you:
- get personal attention and helpful tips from knowledgeable trainers on a daily basis?
- have a cheerleading section (made up of amazing people, nonetheless) while you work your ass off?
- say that you banged your head too much against the wall and have BAS and not feel ashamed? (referencing HSPU's and sit-ups, of course)
- find fun toys and great pieces of handiwork that were donated by other gym members?
- work out where the doors are open and breathe in fresh air? (when you can breathe, that is)
- play with a pretty, pink, GIGANTIC calculator? I mean, come on! That thing is awesome!
Thanks, CFO!!
And heal quickly, Brad!

> play with a pretty, pink, GIGANTIC calculator?
That calculator is truly cool. I think CFO needs another.

Tom:
If ever you are intimidated by a WOD, just put "In & Out" in front of it for 10 seconds i.e (In & Out Fran). Then quickly retract it. It mitigates the terror.
Then the real do-ability of the underlying WOD becomes crystal clear.

Ever since I started coming to CFO, my life has been good! REALLY good!
Every day, at 5pm, I come to class and give myself a hernia and experience internal bleeding. It's the beeest. I LOVE it!
And for all this effort, I get to watch everyone put up better scores than I do - all of my life. It's FANTASTIC.
Hug, hug, kiss, kiss, big hug, big kiss, little kiss,

I had a psychic feeling the last Throwdown workout would be Fran, and really wanted to go for my first Fran-as-prescribed. But dammit, I am forced to rest my back for a little while just two days shy of completion.
Just wanted to say thanks, Mike, for allowing showing-up points and Rx points--great extra motivation for me. Sticking to the three-on/one-off schedule was both more difficult and more rewarding than I expected.

Mary Jo -
You are right...it's the people.
I actually get worried when I don't see someone for a week or so. I end up asking Mike if he has seen so and so. (Big Bill - this includes you! I was happy hear to you've been coming in the evenings!)
Any way, rest up Good Brad, Alec, Steven and everyone else.
March was a great month.
Nine months left to hit our 2008 goals!
