The CFO Throwdown Blog

cfo_throwdown.jpg

The CFO Throwdown (CFOT) has taken on a life of its own. Between all the PRs that are being set and the banter between some of our participants, we need a separate mechanism for showcasing all things CFOT-related.

As such, we've thrown together the CFO Throwdown blog.

Look for updated point totals for all CFOT participants on the blog tomorrow morning.

Enjoy!

Can't believe we made to the next rest day! Anyone up for a round of golf :)

Nice work Tamara... Miss my knee was hurting but knocked out 15+ rounds.

Im down for some golf after 1, but I must warn you that I am horrible... I can hit the ball far with no control at the driving range if that counts haha.

Good morning everyone -

Yesterday at the 5pm class I brought a guest - Andrew. It's interesting to hear comments from an outsider. He loved it!

Regarding Cindy - he said it was the worst 20 minutes of his life. That he really had to slow down because he didn't want to puke in front of everyone!

The best thing though, he said everyone was super cool. So thanks for extending the warm welcome.

Cheers.

you should tell him there is no shame in puking on front of a crossfitter... just ask Daniel.

Michael G - the one with the funny socks.

I want to let you know I did the 400m walking lunge this morning. It took me a month or so to payback the offer that I owed you, but I did it. And yes, it sukked.

It'll be awhile til I wear shorts in public.

Brad - nice work today! probably not too fun doing that one alone, and it's a real knee scraper. I'm hoping for your sake that tomorrow's WOD isn't the 400M walking lunges. Because, I mean, you'll have to do it, right?

FYI...I've updated the CFOT totals for all participants on the CFOT Blog (click the link to go there).

27? whoa. that's crazy. i don't think i could do 27 rounds if i took out the pull-ups and the push-ups.

Posted by: Joe P at March 6, 2008 4:36 PM

Joe - I'll take your 11 rounds as rx'd any day of the week. You were MAH-velous!

Posted by: Robyn at March 6, 2008 6:35 PM

Robyn, i second that. and don't forget the way he pounded out "angie" with 4 sets of 25 squats...

Posted by: edgar at March 6, 2008 6:59 PM

just did cindy at home. good news is this is the first time in months that I haven't gotten horribly light headed/dizzy/nauseous from doing cindy and had to quit after 10 minutes. (i think it's all the fast up and down.) also, I PR'd. but alas, my PR is only 16 rounds + 3 pushups. i need to work on my low weight/high rep workouts. i'm no good at those. must be these love handles :)

i have to say 27 is totally insane, Nabil. Good work everyone.

Now that I know the Friday WOD, I'm just going to take my -5 now...I'll be busy flying rubber dog sh*t over Hong Kong.

Posted by: Brandon B. at March 6, 2008 7:23 PM

its alright B, we'll just break one of Daniel's arms and see how many 1 handed hspu he can do.
