Ok, I'll start. I think it would be really fun to do 5 in a row at about 45 pounds. My best so far is 37.5 I think.

Scott, its not very polite to do that in public.

I had that teeny little 8 lb. weight and it was tough! I'm going for 15 lbs. next time. I'm also working on kips that look more like real kips and less like super-dramatic dead hangs.

Off Topic shout out to Loren -

You sir are a mean and sadistic man. That finisher was nasty! What happened this morning? Couldn't find a puppy to kick on the way into CFO?

RE: Loren's "finisher". That was indeed a painful experience. But like the man himself says: It hurt sooo good. Audra killed it this AM. It kicked my ass, but as usual with the metcon stuff, I am proud to say I at least got it done.

and for the pull-ups: consecutive kipping would be nice

Lau: Funny thing- Even after that adjustment I still bruised my shins...

I'd like to turn the palms of my hands into steel so that I could do pullups until muscular failure instead of skin failure. As a bonus, I would make irritating squeaking noises while performing pullups as the metal in my hands rubbed against the bar. If I could incorporate some flint inserts, perhaps I could get some sparks, too.

TomC - I would suggest bronze as a better bearing material for reduced friction... plus your hands would look kinda gold, which would also be cool.

My immediate p/u goal is for my kips to be one fluid motion, rather than the two-part thing where I pause and then kick to get up over it.

1 x bodyweight weighted pull-up

I'd like to do 1 dead-hang PU from the landing skid of a helicopter in mid-air, with my daughters hanging from my legs. I figure that's around 75#, not counting wind shear forces.

But I'll start with my new year's resolution, which is 30#.
