oh, so you're not kidding about RV rentals? I do think that sounds fun...

Posted by: sierra at May 29, 2008 8:14 PM

I'm in!

We can get a giant canopy and set up the RV as our recovery/party station.

Posted by: Mike Minium at May 29, 2008 8:34 PM

its all about a bago... haha

Posted by: steven at May 29, 2008 8:43 PM

Do we have a tally of everyone who is going to the games? We may also want to consider Team Oaktown t-shirts.

Posted by: TomC at May 29, 2008 9:18 PM

Steven, I hope you're in on the RV. you can be the official photographer/head cheerleader. Ill even buy the outfit for you!!!

Posted by: p. at May 29, 2008 9:18 PM

I'm in--tell me what I owe.

Fuckkkkkk.. I hate when I post twice!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by: LB at May 29, 2008 9:40 PM

I agree we need some Team CFO t-shirts. Did we ever decide on a saying? Anyone else like CrossFit Oakland - I drink your milkshake!
Daniel Day-Lewis is almost as badass as the team we have at CFO.

Seriously though Mike and Nicole, I have a reputable guy that does shirts at a reasonable price and a pretty quick turnaround... let me know if you would like to use him so we can have some shirts for the CF Games.

Posted by: Nabil at May 29, 2008 10:25 PM

I loved Jonathan's t-shirt suggestion:

"Chase Your Weakness"

Posted by: brad gilliatt at May 29, 2008 10:30 PM

I agree with Nabil on the the team shirt. However, I don't know if I'm feeling the milkshake theme, I think it sets us up for too many bad (bj) jokes. I want the other affiliates to know that we are ready to "go" head to head, not "give" head!

Any fellow motorcyclists interested in rocking it Wild Hogs style down to the games?

Posted by: chad at May 30, 2008 2:35 AM

We need t shirts fo sho.

Posted by: Lau at May 30, 2008 8:16 AM

Tamara,

I think that you are confusing Daniel Day-Lewis’ psychotic turn as Daniel Plainview with Kelis’ magical ability to bring all the boys to the yard.

Running Schedule Proposal:

Marin Hill on Saturday @ 4-ish?
Lyon Street Stairs on Sunday @ 10:30 -ish?

Posted by: Brandon at May 30, 2008 9:41 AM

I'm down for Marin, Saturday at 4 & I'm sure Lance is, too.

After watching that YouTube Ad, I really feel positively toward Crusie America as a brand. In fact, I now have a much better idea how to convince beautiful women give me smooches and compliment me on my intelligence, despite my undersized cranium. I just need to tell them that I plan on renting from Cruise America. At which point, I will sit back and just wait for the ladies to come strolling my way.

By the way, I'm in on the RV for sure.

> I want the other affiliates to know that we are ready to "go" head to head, not "give" head!

Tami, you are wise indeed.

I'd like my t-shirt to read: "I suffer from metabolic derangement."

When are we giving shouts out to Connor for smashing the f**k out of Grace yesterday... I guess I just did!!!

Posted by: Tamara at May 30, 2008 1:42 PM

I was just checking the CF Games Website and there is an athlete profile of John Welbourn (currrently a NFL FA). According to his stats, he has completed Grace in 1:31. I told Connor he has to re-do Grace on the next rest day.

Posted by: Brandon at May 30, 2008 1:54 PM

Connor has got him on the grace...losing his grip on number 30 easily cost him 5 seconds. Oh, and I will now be zoning, mainly paleo (about 75%) at 50 blocks a day until the games ahhaha!!!

Posted by: P. at May 30, 2008 3:12 PM

I'm in for the runs but you need to come up with a more reasonable time for those of us coaching classes over the weekend (me on Sat, Lau on Sun). How 'bout some time after or between classes on both days? Say 530pm on Sat and 1pm on Sun?

Posted by: Mike Minium at May 30, 2008 4:13 PM

That John Welbourn is a big motherfucker! I look forward to owning his ass at the CrossFit Games. As long as we don't have to lift anything more than 95lbs. I'm gonna cum all over that steriod taking performance enhancing specialist!

Posted by: Nabil at May 30, 2008 7:38 PM

5:30 pm on Saturday @ Marin is cool with me.

Posted by: Brandon B. at May 30, 2008 7:44 PM

holy shit. That john welbourn dude was snatching 135 like it was an empty bar. wtf? looks like the nfl knows how to train. i guess I could have guessed that, though. what/where's the sunday run? SF?

Posted by: Jonathan at May 30, 2008 8:02 PM

Sunday, sometime after the 10 AM class?

Posted by: Brandon B. at May 30, 2008 8:25 PM

If anyone wants to play golf and drink beer this weekend, let me know. We'll ride a cart - it's easier with the cooler.

Posted by: brad gilliatt at May 30, 2008 9:02 PM

Chad,

I am all over the wild hogs part but I am visioning easy rider meets spaghetti western!

Posted by: Franklin O at May 30, 2008 9:29 PM
