That One Workout

Patrick right after his 25-round performance in Cindy
Patrick has been tearing it up as of late, with his 2:51 performance in Fran and his 25-round performance in Cindy within a few days of each other.
And as you can see in the photo above, sometimes it hurts to go as hard as he did.
So now it's your turn to fess up.
Post to comments the one CrossFit workout that leaves you more worked-over, laid-out, and beaten-down than any other (Fran, Cindy, Linda, Filthy 50, etc.).

Patrick - nice job! Seems like you've taken your A game to another level. "A+" I guess. Some impressive performances.
One finisher from a few weeks ago, Loren's thing, about killed me. Anyone remember what the heck that thing was? Bastard.

fight gone bad killed me the last time I did it.
If anyone wants an in depth look at the stretch reflex, check this out.

I think that Fran hurts me the worse, but I'm pretty sure that i've puked on almost every one of the girls.
...I like the way that sounds!

P your performances have been amazing. I love how you come in without a lot of talk and just get shit done! No strutting around with the inflated chest or ridiculous ego (Audge style, although she can't help the inflated chest).
My worst beat down clearly came from Barbara. I almost puked, cried and wanted to shake Audra like a rag doll. She was nice enough to come do the wod for a second time so I could have a pacer.

CFO THROWDOWN PART DEUX!
Audra vs Tamara!
We want to see it!
Mr Saturday Nite annointed "Pound for Pound" CFO Champion vs "CFO Throwdown Womans Champion"
There hasn't been a battle of this proportion since the 1988 Summer Olympics when the seemingly frail, midget-esque Janet Evans took on the intimidating Eastern Bloc swimmers.
Will metcon triumph over pure power and strength?
Will Audra's supplements be the difference?
Will Tamara's off-site sprint training pay off?
Will Audra get distracted and end up doing just 2,000 back-extensions?
Will Audra wear the Lulu's?
We want to see it!!!!!

Will Audra get distracted and end up doing 2000 back extensions? priceless!
BTW, there is a great rest day discussion about porn and freedom and the bible and Crossfit and AllisonNYC on the main site today...fun for the whole family!
It turns out the Glassmans are diehard supporters of the porn industry, Tony Budding got his start doing snuff flicks and hardcore bondage/torture scenes, Crossfit is PURE EVIL, Rippetoe thinks the only thing more important than porn is ice cream, and a few of the right wing Cristians are so offended they are leaving Crossfit to start their own fitness cult where to get initiated everyone has to wear a Burka, full firefighter regalia, or hockey gear (including skates) while performing Fran, after which you are only allowed to workout naked or wearing a hairshirt. The Military and police are evenly divided, confused between their loyalty to the patriot act and the need to have good quality porn available to our troops in the middle east as they protect AllisonNYC's freedom to drop the F-Bomb on the Taliban. And CCTJOEY sums it all up: "Thin the herd!"
Beat that, Nabil.

Brad - 2,000 back extensions, so funny!
Allen - Seriously, it was a busy & contentious day on the main site yesterday! How about AllisonNYC on the beach with a Jamba Juice? I couldn't handle that, it was just too cheesy-ridiculous. If it were Marisa Miller it would be oaky, but come on, what was that all about? Your summing-up of it all was brilliant, BTW.

Nabil beat the crap out of Cindy again today!! 29 rds +3 pullups was it? That works out to about 3 rounds for every 1 of mine ;) Fun to watch. Thanks Nabil.
Congrats, Patrick - That pic should go in the next brochure...
Funny stuff, Allen -when's the writing throwdown?
Posted by: Robyn at May 17, 2008 11:23 AM
To repsond to Mike's question, I'm at the point where I get really scared for most workouts. Scared of the post WOD hyperventilating about to pass out and die feeling I've been getting as of late. Although the new fridge and showers are going to be awesome, perhaps an oxygen bar would be more useful. You have to be alive to eat and shower right?
Nabil...thats sick...in case you all were wondering, Nabil basically did a round every 40 seconds - thats 5 pullups, 10 pushups, and 15 squats every 40 sec for 20 minutes. The affiliate throwdown is going to be nuts people, one week to go....
Sierra - Marisa Miller=my future wife (she just doesn't know it yet)

For me its definitely Barbara. Nothing has even come close to making me feel so messed up afterwards. It took about 40 minutes before I even started to feel ok again. I would rather be stabbed in the face with a soldering iron. Kelly would be 2nd, but its a VERY distant 2nd.
Thanks Robyn! 10 rounds for first time Rx'd, not bad at all! You and Sierra both killed it.
Allen-
Kudos my friend, kudos!
Who needs porn when you have this stuff! I'll be fantasizing about this for months! Thanks to Brandon for sending it to me.

> I'm at the point where I get really scared for most workouts.
Amen.

We should have had a back to back commemorative, phole whimpering and brandon yacking after cindy. That was truly a great day.

Lau -
Anytime you want to do it tomorrow or next week is fine with me. I can't wait, it's go to be so relaxing. If you want, I'll let you sit on it.
Here's my number -

No one else has this number, so please don't share it.
Thanks man.

Long story short... I got my ass kicked and I'm too tired to say much more about it!
Brad the 2000 back ext was f'n hilarious.
Posted by: Tamara at May 17, 2008 6:40 PM
Fran without a doubt. Cindy, however, made a pretty good case the other day, as it made me hurl for the first time ever in 32 years of working out. I also hate the way that I feel after Helen, Linda, Barbara, and Kelly. I'm quitting Crossfit.
Nabil's, Robyn's, and Sierra's performances today were fuckin' legit. We will be drinking everyone's milkshake on the 24th!

after day one at the level I cert, I got an idea for a CFO t-shirt.
"Chase your Weakness"
B-sorry I missed you puking.

Nabil,
29 rounds of cindy...unreal.
I am in awe.
Patrick, your 25 wasn't bad either. Not to mention your sub 3 fran. Holy P-hole, batman, you're tearing it up!
Posted by: Allen at May 17, 2008 10:27 PM
at this point all work outs have the potential to lay me out, just depends on how hard i want to push myself. i have to say the hardest work out that i have done so far was actually a finisher, the 4 200m sprints, if i had eaten breakfast that morning i definetely would have.......it up. that killed me and left me sore for days. any workout that involves running or burpees destroys me.
Posted by: journey at May 18, 2008 12:09 AM
oh and if anybody would like to do speed training with me let me know. I am looking for people to do it with because i don't have the motivation myself. One of my old running coaches just gave me a guideline to follow by to help improve the pace of my running during workouts. Audge, you still in? how about a sat or sun after an "easy" day at crossfit? come one come all!!
Posted by: Journey at May 18, 2008 12:14 AM
Hey TomC, I know how much you love Allison, but I just saw Mike's picture all over Allison NYC's computer in her video today! She was blurbing on beautiful people and such and the cam rolled across a pic of Mike jumpropin'! ;)

Journey -
I'd be up for some speed training with you, but not at CFO. Could you do Piedmont High School?
Have you been there? We did the 400m x 4 there, it's a beautiful track.
That CFO pavement hurts too much. Any rest day. For strength we could do burps, pushups, etc...
Posted by: brad gilliatt at May 18, 2008 8:28 AM
Brad and Tom (Casey, Audra)
I would be up to do speed training at Piedmont, i definetely do not want to do it on pavaement. my little brother who is one of the top runners in california and my old running coach have designed a speed training program that i think would be worth trying. I myself am trying to get my 800 time below a 2:20 and could use some motivational help. let's do it some saturday or sunday soon.
