Throwdown for Two

In preparation for the CF Games in July, Tami and Audra challenged each other to their own Throwdown which they did as yesterday's rest day workout. It's an awesome way to keep the training energy high and will most certainly make a difference when CFO shows up and represents in Aromas in July (the smack talking is fun too).
Post your recommendations for Tami and Audra's next WOD challenge along with a word about who you would most like to compete with at CFO.

For those of us who missed it...what were the results?

This was actually posted on yesterday's entry, but I think my comments are relevant enough to today's post:
From Amy: Hey TomC, I know how much you love Allison, but I just saw Mike's picture all over Allison NYC's computer in her video today! She was blurbing on beautiful people and such and the cam rolled across a pic of Mike jumpropin'! ;)
Ah, AllisonNYC - the most important CrossFitter in the world. I have not met the woman, so I have no business insulting her. However, I have trouble believing that they cannot find more deserving subjects for their athlete profiles. Six videos? Jesus. Or, if you prefer, Odin. At least we know she digs Mini. Then again, who doesn't?
I think it's time we put together a six part video on Tami. We can start by showing her lifting more weight than most men and then maybe putting out a fire. We'll then cut to a voice over (preferably in an English accent) that adapts part of Shakespeare's Saint Crispen's Day Speech:
And gentlemen in Oakland now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That trained with Tami upon this coming Memorial Day.
Audra, I will see if I can deface some more Shakespeare in your honor, too. Give me a little time.

Happy Sunday Everyone -
Curiousity finally got the best of me, I just watched part 6 of the Allison interview. First let me say, I don't watch the daily videos on the site, nor do I read any of the political views. Fact is, I just don't care, mindless drivel. (kinda like this site, buy I know you guys!!!!)
Any way, after hearing about the "soft-porn" womans video (the one with the close-ups), I decided to watch. It was pretty lame. I mean come on, who doesn't love a little skin, but that was emabarassing. (maybe I'm a hypocrite with the Lulu's comments?)
So now moving on to the Allison part 6 video. (I can't believe there were parts 1 thru 5, will there be a part 7?)
Her quote "...I have boobs like that..." was unfortunate. What is that? The 11th unwritten benefit of Crossfit?
Strength, speed, accuracy, flexibility, endurance, .......bigger boobs?
I think Tom is right, there has to be a better role model for the woman of Crossfit.
Starting with the two woman featured on todays main blog. I'm fascintated about their professional careers. They are responsible to the community and children! How good is that? I'd rather hear about that then Allison rationalizing why it's okay to do a WOD without a shirt on.
Amy, Michelle, Venessa, and Connie's careers are soooooo much more interesting.
Candace, maybe the best thing you can do with your little sister is bring her by CFO for the evening classes. I hope you do.
Alright, I'm sure Allison is a good person, probably shouldn't be picking on her. Probably should pick on the person responsible for the CF content.
So, that's my rant for today.
Have a nice day everyone.

I believe Tami suggested that Audra won in one of her comments yesterday.
I came across a much better athlete video. This one is of Aimee Anaya, US National Weightlifting Champion. She recently sustained some pretty serious injuries that kept her from competing for a spot on the Olympic team this weekend. No matter, she's an ass-kicker and this video is pretty amusing. Unfortunately, it is 81+ MB and slow to load. I recommend right-clicking on it and downloading it to your hard drive instead of trying to open it in a browser.
In other news, my hero, Natalie Woolfolk made the US Olympic team, as did Casey Burgener.

Yes I got my ass kicked and I'm still being a sore loser about it. I want a re-match and I want her urine tested. She blazed through 70# thrusters while I agonized over my 95# and pointing out that it was 67% of her bodyweight!

Audra - Congratulations! In your honor I went to the Lulu Lemon store on College today to see what the fuss is all about. For the record, I will not be sporting any Lulu duds until I my body fat is below 6% and I become several inches shorter.
Tamara - Clearly you let Audra choose the terms of the throwdown. Next time: arm wrestling!
Lau - Great class today, but you no longer get to coach any class where you are writing the "warm up" on the board.

Now Bill, you know Lau sets up the best warm-ups! It's like the 10 minute workout from hell! Every warm-up should be so brutal. Every warm -up should also have burpees. Ah, to live in a perfect world...

Sierra, "every warm-up should have burpees" are you trying to end our friendship?

Mike & Nicole,
Next rest day I would like a boob-building WOD that will give me results as seen on the main site videos.
I think it only fair since your zone diet and crossfitting has relieved me of the little breastage I did have.
Thank you
Robyn

I wanna go head to head with Candace's little sister. It will be a tough fight, but I will probably be close to her for most of the workout. It's likely that she'll beat me, but at least I have a chance.
> recommendations for Tami and Audra's next WOD challenge
3 rounds for time
1.25x bodyweight deadlift x 10
run 800m
