Mini, Robb Wolf of CF NorCal, and Connie at the CF Level 1 Nutrition Seminar

Connie and I had the privilege and honor to be among the first trainers to go through Robb Wolf's CF Level 1 Nutrition Seminar today in balmy Chico, CA.

We're more psyched than ever about the power of the Zone when combined with smart food choices, and will have much more to share on this approach to high-performance eating in the coming weeks. Be warned!

In the meantime, this creates the perfect segue into the topic of this post.

As you know from last week, CFO athlete and chef extraordinaire, Lance V, is putting together "Fuel To Go" meals for all of us to enjoy.

In order to streamline the cooking process for Lance, however, we need to order in advance. So we're using the blog as a means for placing an order. We'll start with this post here, and you'll be ordering a meal that will be delivered on Monday morning.

We have new prices for the meals, based on the amount of blocks in the meal, as follows:

2 blocks: $5.00
3 blocks: $9.00
4 blocks: $10.00
5 blocks: $11.00

And here's the menu for Monday:

Fra Mani Italian sausage with braised lacinato kale, garlic, chili flakes and chickpeas.

Post to comments if you'd like to order some Fuel To Go. Include your block quantity and the number of meals you'd like (e.g., two 4-block meals).

Orders need to be submitted in the comments of this post no later than Sunday at 6pm.

Congratulations to Team CFO. We represented with twelve folks at today's challenge. Candace took top honors for the women with Tammy taking second--that is right-- we had the top two females! Jolie took third place. Nabil represented the men, taking third place in what can only be described as fierce competition. There were about 50 crossfitters doing the following work out: run 400 meters, 30 thrusters at 95 pounds for men, 65 for women, then 30 pullups for three rounds. There was a lot going on and a lot I missed but I thought I would report the broad strokes.

Most importantly, everyone gave there all. Our team was unifed, everyone helping out where they could, cheering each other on. There were five rounds and everyone stayed until the last CFOer corssed the finish line. It was a great event.

Team CFO put it down today.
The wod:

3 rounds
400m run
30 95# thrusters
30 pull ups

Tami 2nd place
Candace 1st

Nabil 2nd by one second

All in all the team (besides me) showed really good heart pushing through hangovers, hand tears and the heat.

Sorry for the multiple typos. Still not feeling my arms after the workout...;-0

Great to see Oakland so well represented today at the hopper challenge. Nabil beat me by ONE DAMN SECOND! You're a complete stud man, thanks to all of you, especially Nabil and Brendan I think it is, for the very close competition. I felt on my game, and i needed every last ounce to hang with you guys. I was honored to to be competing along side you all. Hope to see you guys soon. Can't wait to swing by you're venue for a random WOD sometime, just tell me the best time for good competition and I'm there! See you guys at the games. OneWorld will have an RV with good people, good drinks, and good times. Looking forward to seeing my East Coast brothers and sisters there!

Man, I hate thrusters. I had a great time, though. Congrats to everyone who dropped copious amounts of sweat, blood, and yes, vomit (can you guess who?) on the pavement.

Put me down for 1 5-block, Lance! I'm looking forward to it.

Congratulations candice Tammy, nabil, and all of CFO, wish I could have been there.thanks for the order guys, see you at 6am.

Congratulations you guys! So who's going to give me a bio?

Candace, now that your bad-assness is out of the bag, I think you are the obvious choice! Nabil? Conner? Brandon?

one 3-block meal for me.

thanks, lance.

Good job everyone! Wish I could have been there.
