Just one of the couple thousand (no joke) photos we snapped of CFOers at the CrossFit Games
We're at the Games and it's quite an event, to put it mildly.
Everyone from the team did great on the first day, which involved a brutal triplet of WODs (hill run, thrusters and pull-ups, and deadlifts and burpees). The really good news is that after day one, Candace is sitting in 8th place and Tami in 10th place.
The clean-and-jerk workout tomorrow really plays to their strengths, so we'll just have to see what happens.
The men's division is highly competitive. The good news is that we have five men currently standing between 44th and 53rd place. The bad news is that we have no one higher than that. All that being said, there have been some great performances and I expect our guys to move up a few places in tomorrow's clean-and-jerk workout.
We have much more to say, and many more photos to post, but I'll save that for another blog entry.
And a big thank-you to all of you who came out and screamed and shouted for us today. It was a big boost.

It was amazing to see all the feats of strength and commitment yesterday. I predict CFO will move forward in the ranks today, that all the thowdown practices and training will make you all mentally stronger and physically tougher than the other competitors.

Seriously, though, everyone did an amazing job. I wish I could have stayed for the last round on Saturday and for Sunday. I'm looking forward to everyone else's photos of that.

Awesome work CFO!! I am so proud to be a part of CFO, you guys came through like the champs we all know you to be! It was really exciting to be there yesterday and I am so sad I couldn't make it out there on the final day to see you guys get the affiliate award, you all did so Great! Can't wait for next year already!

Congratulations to Tami, Candace, Brandon and Daniel (or vice versa...), our top CFO Games competitors. Thank you for bringing the affiliate cup home to Oakland, 7 minutes and 48 seconds ahead of the next affiliate. And to MJJ for winning the C2 rower!
And thank you to all the CFO competitors for showing incredible intensity and commitment. You were such an inspiration. The games were great, but the spirit and energy of CFO was truly awesome.
Vee - The shirt design was such a success. They made the CFO group really stand out as a force to be reckoned with. Well, that and our incredibly loud shouting.
I felt profoundly fortunate to share the experience of the CrossFit Games with such an exceptional group of people. Thank you to all of you. It was a wonderful weekend and there is much to tell.
Mike was not kidding about the thousands of pictures. Thanks to Mr. James Pyne, who lent me his super bad ass Nikon D70, I (and Lau and Jeralee) took 2,742 pictures. I'll be making a few of the choice shots public in the near future.

The individual performances were jaw-dropping and too many to mention but Team CFO was in so many ways the story of the games (at least for me). NOBODY came close to the spirit of support and camaraderie shown by this team.
I'm so proud of you all that I could just spit...

Mike and Nicole- congrats on coaching such an amazing group of athletes to victory. big congrats to Tami, Candace, Brandon and Daniel, you guys are my idols!!! The affiliate cup- that is so great. I am so fortunate and honored to be able to work with such an amazing group and to have such outstanding athletes and coaches as motivators, and people to try and live up to. I was completely amazed at so many peoples performances, great job guys. and the support that was there from our team and for our team uncomparable and was award worthy itself. Oh and props out to sierra who won her heat of the hill run, she not only won it but she killed it, smoked it!!!!
