Olympic Lifting Clinic: The Clean with Angela Lim and Jo Ann Arnold

Natalie Woolfolk--lifting inspiration!

On Sunday, July 20th Angela Lim will be teaching an Olympic Lifting Clinic that focuses entirely on a single lift, the clean. Over the course of two hours, participants will be taken through the mechanics of the movement and have a video analysis of their own lift. The cost of the clinic is $50--space is limited.

Post your biggest trouble with the clean to comments.

i'm in for that clinic!

My biggest problem with the clean is the bar, plates and platform. Angela help!Sign me up.

Do you know yet what time it will be? I'm definitely interested, but have plans that morning. If it is in the afternoon, count me in.

Oh Angela!
I have un-sign myself up your clinic damn it.
I have to be out of town on the 20th,
Shit shit shit

my problems with the clean: not getting under the bar quickly enough and flexibility. and probably general form too.
I signed myself up on the little white-board before, am I still in?

After watching that video I absolutely must be part of the clinic. If there's a spot available, I would love to attend. I need major help with this lift.

Finally there is something to make me feel better about having to scale the weight at the cf games.

At least I'm not the guy shown here in the CF Games Highlight video(at 2:13) laying in the grass crying, WITH HIS SHIRT ON BACKWARDS!! What an idiot, everyone knows that all the names of the sponsors are always on the back of a t-shirt. I may use the girl's weight when I workout, but I ALWAYS do it while wearing my shirt the correct way.

I'm SO much better than that guy!

If there is room i would love to participate in the clinic.

I signed up for a spot but I have to work that day. I will make sure to remove my name if someone doesn't beat me to it.

I often find it difficult to motivate myself to shower. This makes being clean difficult. I also take our drought seriously and feel badly about using all that extra water. It ain't easy being clean.

Nabil, good eye for the backwards shirt. His shame is now preserved in perpetuity for all to see and mock. I think the only thing worse than a male wearing his shirt backwards is a male getting liposuction for his droopy moobs prior to having silicone chest implants emplaced.

Natalie Woolfolk is my hero. I want to lift as much as she does one day.

I want Woolfolk to lift and carry me.

Looks like I'm out for the clinic after all--going away that weekend. Bummer.

what time is it Angela? sign me up.

I'm in like Flynn. I need all the help I can get.

It's getting hard to keep track of all my goals for Crossfit, it seems there are new ones created all the time... Pullups- anyway I can get them & minus the rubber death trap, more than 2 pushups, double-under(s), my form on all my lifting... the list is endless so I'll sign up for all the assistance available. Thanks Nicole!

That Woolfolk is one bad ass chick!

I am limiting the class to 5 participants only. Get your ckecks into Nicole. Otherwise, we will look at having a second overflow class in the near future.

After all that, I can't make it this Sunday... My sister is coming into town that day. I am bummed b/c I really need these classes but hopefully we can do it again soon...Thanks again!
