MJJ! Hooray for fun times. We will miss you tremendously. Have a blast.
My bucket list doesn't really have to do with places to see as much as things to experience. Perhaps that is because I'm 26 and not 96. I would like to train, learn, teach, love and be free.
I hope to be happy and healthy long enough to know when I have accomplished all those experiences.

tomorrow at 11:10 is the first heat of the womens 800m race and i definitely want to see it but i don't have a TV. Does anyone know if one can view the olympics on line, or if there is a place that will be airing the olympics?

Journey,
No TV? WTF is your problem? How are you able to watch Cops, Cheaters, and The Hills?
Posted by: Brandon at August 14, 2008 9:37 PM
Uh, oh. I got the dreaded random "comment being held for moderation" message. Last time this happened, I never saw my comment again.
Journey, check out NBC's website to get some information about what is on when.

MJJ,
Where do I get a pair of those wrist bands that you're rockin'? Those are sick.
Posted by: Brandon at August 14, 2008 9:58 PM
MJJ you are truly "the standard". Enjoy your trip, I know you won't need luck. I will think of you freezing your a** off when I go on another 2 week hiatus to a warmer climate :)
Journey, even LB had a beautiful 10" t.v. for us to watch the opening ceremonies...you have no excuse!

Mjj,
Remember the top is only half way. Be safe and enjoy your climb bro.
I am going to register for the over priced day of hanging out in a parking lot swinging from some janky pull up bars today.

B and T- Why do I need a T.V when I have a library full of US magazines, which keep me educated about the most pertinent politics of our day, and most controversial politics, like "Who wore it best"-- Lindsay or Paris? And they even had a feature on Michelle Obama and her wardrobe (must be big obama supporters) They are also loaded with the latest on hollywood cheaters (in fact just heard that John Mayer may have cheated on Jen), and definitely keep me up to date on what is happening on The Hills. And if US doesn't have it I can default to my equally large collection of Life and Style and People.... the only thing that I am missing is the olympics.

Journey no one actually buys those magazines. We all read them while shopping @ target then come home and watch the Olympics on the 50" HD. It's like seeing LC and Audrina in person.

MJJ - that is super cool, I wish you well.
Candace - you will.
My bucket list - to ride a motorcycle around the world. Spend a few years doing it sleep on the side of the road.
Realistic or not, its my dream.

MJJ,Good luck brother, be safe and hurry back...
My bucket list is short. Give bennie all the love and tools he needs to make the right choices as an adult(so that he can support me during my golden years)Be a great partner to my soon to be wife. And lastly, BEAT Brandon and Daniel @ the games next year but LET Mike win by 1/2 a point.

MJJ - Hope the mountain experience is all you hope for. And that your CFO experience turns out to have been useful preparation, not just an opportunity to talk smack and mess with Brandon on the blog.

MJJ, you are the bomb. We will miss you, be safe!
I just want to be good, do good, and love Ben, Lance, my family & friends real good. I also want to work on my grammar.

MJJ - enjoy! I look forward to being your knees-to-elbow partner again when you return.
Lau enlightened me last night. I now know that my goal in life is to turn into a pizza.

Journey! That's my girl! Find solace in that celebrity smut, that's what it's for!

MJJ - I had no idea you were into mountain climbing. do you climb rock also? Climb safe, and have a blast out there.
Oh, and don't forget to wear a crossfit shirt in the summit photos so you can get your picture on the main page...

MJJ,
Enjoy your climb, man. Remember to scream something in Mandarin upon reaching the top. Chen Yanqing is counting on you.
Gunshow stole my email address.
Journey, don't worry about the TV. Until last weekend, I was without a TV for many years. Someone gave my roommate a big CRT and now we've got one at my place. Big party at Lake Merritt in the near future.
Posted by: TomC at August 15, 2008 1:07 PM
MJJ - have fun. I'll miss having you as my morning workout buddy.

MJJ,
Good luck on the climb.
In case you didn't know, the fastest accent of Mt. Rainier is 4 hours, 46 minutes, and 29 seconds! If you don't break 4:45 we are no longer friends.

Thank you folks I’ll do my best to come back in one piece. I really appreciate being a part of CFO with all you nutty fitness fanatics.
On a side note I wanted to give a quick shout out to Mr. Mini, since we finished our Love/Hate duel today. For the record I called him out, made up the WOD, and set the time, so things were bound to be tipped in my favor. Mike never fussed or complained about anything he just stepped up and did the damn the thang. And that WOD was B-R-U-T-A-L! After he finished we shook hands, he put his lifting shoes away and he went right in to teaching a private lesson with the same energy. So for the record, here on the CFO blog, let it be known that Mike Mini is an amazing dude.
