The 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm classes will all be held at the Piedmont High Track tonight. There will be an alternate workout for anyone who can't do the runs, so have no worries.

Spinach Soup and Meat

Here's the quick recipe:
8 Cups spinach blanched (hot water for ~1 minute
1 Cup Milk
Salt and pepper
Cayenne Pepper
Water
Blend

Meat;
Any cut of semi-lean beef
Cut in small bite-size pieces
Cook until browned
Salt
Pepper

What's happening with the run tonight? I'm loving 1/2 cup garbanzo beans sauteed in olive oil and chili flake on romaine with 1.5 oz halibut and a 2-block sausage. Yummy 3-blocker! I got to bring some meatballs to work for lunch today. I'm a very lucky woman.

According the Throwdown Blog, the run will be at the Piedmont High Track. I will be wearing my Prefontaine shorts.

Piedmont Track?! I think we should get extra points for running the streets of the CFO 'hood in the dark at 6am this morning!

Btw, Lance threw up a pretty sweet time for you dudes to chase.

This weekend marked my one month anniversary of coming to CFO. Wanted to delurk to thank everyone (trainers and participants) for being so welcoming and supportive! For being such badasses, y'all are very nice.

And I have never trained somewhere where I have SO MANY amazing female role models, it's awesome. Daily inspiration.

At the risk of sounding disingenuous, I have to say that I just ate those meatballs for lunch and they were so good I almost cried. I'm not just saying that because he's my husband. An added bonus is that my coworkers are happy that I'm not interfering with their Hot Pockets and Lunchables eating pleasure by smelling up the breakroom with broccoli and snapper.

Will someone be at the gym this evening so I can pick up my meatballs?

I agree w/ Robyn, Mike should shave 15-20 seconds of our 3k run da hood experience. I almost had enough time at 2 stop lights to tell stories about why the dude @ the moynihan institute loves CROSSFIT so much. Well cfo crew, have a nice run, on the SOFT track and watch out for muni busses... BTW I am madly in love w/ Sam.
