The Fight Gone Bad Fundraiser is happening on Saturday, September 27th beginning at 9a.m.. WE WILL NOT HOLD THE REGULAR 9 AND 10 A.M. CLASSES! 4 PM CLASS AS USUAL!

For those of you who are participating in FGB here are the details:

For efficiency sake we will be running three heats:

Heat #1 will begin at 9:30
Heat #2 will begin at 10:15
Heat #3 will begin at 11:00

All participants will be responsible for signing up for one of the three heats (first come, first serve). The sign up sheet will be on the Event Board in the back of the gym by Wednesday. As per usual, we will be doing FGB in teams of two (athlete:coach), so pick your partner and get signed up for Heat one, two or three!

Each FGB participant will be responsible for getting themselves warmed up and ready to go!

***After FGB there will be a post-workout meal from Everett and Jones!***

We send a huge THANK-YOU to our anonymous donors for their generous donation!

Post the FGB score you're going for to comments.

I figure I will fall somewhere between 1 and 700

Any chance I can be a free agent and not pick my time slot or partner in advance? I'm not positive I'll even be able to go, having just become the father of twins last night, but the girls will be in the NICU for a few more weeks and mom should be home from the hospital on Friday, so there's a chance I may be able to sneak away to do FGB.

As for the score I'm shooting for, just one more than what Lance gets.

Good Brad! Congrats. I know your wife did all the hard work, that's why you want to join the craziness at CFO on Saturday.

Speaking of the craziness, anyone want to partner up with me for 930?

Wyatt - happy to partner with you at 9:30. I'm outta town and don't get back till late Thurs so would really appreciate it if you'd sign me up. Thanks.

Steve

ahh, I'm not there and can't sign up. I was hoping to do the 10:15. Can someone put my name in?

Congrats, Brad!

Brad, congrats!! And all the best to mom and the twins...

Brad -

Congratulations! Names....?

Congrats Brad on the twins! :-)

I"ll be signing up for the 10:15am ....am a relatively new to crossfit here so I'm open to whoever would like to partner up with me...(just email me or sign up as my partner on the sheet etc)

Hope I survive this one... lol :-)

Where my FGB-BFF, Dave at? You doing this? Let's shoot for a solid 74 this time around.

Brad, congratulations to you and your new family! Can't wait to see them. You are so outnumbered in your household now - 4 to 1!

Hey everybody, have fun doing FGB on Saturday. I have another continuing education seminar all day saturday (and sunday morning), so I won't be able to join you, although I'd much rather do FGB than sit in a classroom from 8am to 9pm.

I just ordered a set of bumper plates, a "Crossfit" bar and a couple kettlebells from Glenn Pendlay at Wichita Falls Weightlifting, can't wait to start using them!

Brad, congratulations! You are going to be a busy man for a while, eh?

Jonathan, I'll sign you up for the 10:15 and count reps if you can stay for the 11 heat?

I'll do better than I did last time (-;

Franklin, I think 11 should be fine. Thanks. See you then.

Wyatt "wg", I would have been your partner but I choose the Audge. She "rounds" my score nicely and looks the other way when I use the 5ft wallball target.

Thanks everyone. Their names are Isabelle & Sophie and I'll definitely be bringing them by the gym as soon as I can. Both are doing very well. Izzy is a fiesty one and Sophie is pretty mellow. They're adorable, of course.

There's already an Isabelle (well, Isabel) WOD...I think we need one for Sophie as well. Any suggestions? I'll do them back-to-back (with MJJ) if I ever make it back to the gym.

Congratulations, good Brad! (and Isabelle, Sophie and...mom--whose name, I am sorry to say, has slipped my mind)

I'm out of town this weekend but best wishes to all you FGB participants. Make CFO (and anonymous) proud!

Congratulations Brad! Twin Girls... I think Sierra is right, you are definitely out numbered. I know my dad just stays in the garage whenever my sister and I visit, I think he knows he doesn't stand a chance in a room when we all get together ;)) Enjoy your new babies, they grow too fast!

Hey Lance and/or Sierra, what is the name of that food calculator/tracker website you were telling us about the other day?

Lydia,

They were probably talking about FitDay.

Congratulations again on doubling your family in one swoop Big Daddy Brad. You need a WOD for Sophie? You made my day, I love playing with the toys at CFO. I humbly summit 3 ideas for your expert review.

Max rep wall-ball/Burpee: The goal is to get to 150 like Karen. You do as many continuous wall-balls as you can first. If you drop the ball, pause for a rest, miss the 'X' or stop, your done. Then you do burpees for the remaining reps until you have 150 total. If you can do 150 straight wall-balls then you’re a stud and no burpees for you.

In honor of your twins here’s some multi-person WODs.

200m 2 Person tire flip/jump/run: Both people start in front of tire. Person A flips tire then jumps in and out of the tire and back, then sprints to the start line and back to the tire. Person B does the same thing after person A is done with their jumps. Obviously the farther you move from the start line the more sprinting you will have to do. In this WOD your either flipping, jumping or sprinting continuously until the tire moves 200 meters.

1-mile sprint train w/ 70# kettlebell (3+ person WOD): Simple sprint train like in warm ups while passing off the kettlebell. Not only can you try and beat Lance as an individual but you could beat his whole 6am team time. Double victory for you!

I think the first Wod MJJ made should be for the Daniel/Brandon playoff.

Tami - that's a great idea!

I think MJJ is a sick sick man who needs help. Dude seriously, WTF is wrong with you?

Tamara - I thought we were going to go out and get matching BFF tattoos after the WOD. I thought we had something special, but no. You have to stop playing these games with my heart. It's just cruel.

Steve P- We're on for 930.

MJJ - I like that...although how about you do all 150 wall-balls, and every time you stop in the process, that's 10 burpees you have to do at the end.

And yes, I think one of those should be the Brandon-Daniel WOD.

Brad, congratulations on Isabelle and Sophie. What great news!

Wyatt I will get the tattoo if it says "white guy"...classic.

Too much??

Ok, how about group hugs while singing ‘We are the World’ then write an essay about how CFO has helped you reconnect with Mother Earth, followed by spooning.

2 rounds for time

Sorry, boys and girls. The Brandon/Daniel WOD has been decided already: Grace.

They're 4 seconds apart so it's a dead heat, in essence.

The showdown happens next Wed Oct 1 at 6pm.

Nabil,

you dont know how messed up this MJJ guy is. Look at how this sicko likes to have fun

MJJ
You just described the classic 6am rest day WOD!! We on for tomorrow, gals (and Lance)?

btw I think a group cfo spoon session would be awesome!
No Connor, you cant be the outside of the spoon this time.
