with the new "rule" in order i was on the way to do the wod... little did i know a guy was going to run his minivan smack into me head on and let me fly over his car.
I take it as a sign that I was to protest this new rule.
if anyone has a truck and can help me tow my bike to my house tonight or tomorrow gimme a ring ya?
562-852-1662. Daniel is out in Texas so hrmmmm...
The menu for Wednesday morning's Fuel2Go meal is posted on www.fuel2go.blogspot.com, it's a beautiful turkey marsala dish inspired by a trip to Italy that I took years ago. I'm shaking things up a bit and moving Fuel2Go meals from Monday mornings to Wednesday mornings. Beginning today menus will be posted on Mondays, and postworkout bars will also be available every Wednesday morning - see the blog for more details. Thanks tremendously for helping to make Fuel2Go a success, I love making this food for you guys.
Steven - I'm sorry about your accident. Let me know if I can do anything, make you some soup or something. I don't have a truck but I'm glad you're okay. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll beat my score next time.
Yikes, Steven! Are you all right?
I can help you out tomorrow morning. I'll give you a call in the morning after I get done with my early sessions...some time around 830am.
That sucks Steve, hope you are ok? I bet the inverted burpee wod prepared you for your hood sommersault!! All the more reason to follow the Xfit program, real life shit :)
haha, thanks everyone.
p-hole ended up coming and saving me, but thanks for the offer Mike.
I think this means I can't be a bench jockey and can only do curls with my left hand now.
awesome helen times you two... way to make me feel real good about myself, thinking im all "in shape" and all, a whole 2 minutes faster eh...great haha. for real though, can't wait to catch up with all the old familiar faces and meet some of you newer folks too...
Steven, I hope you are OK, that doesn't sound good.
Patrick/Tamara, are any of your firefighter buddies down in Southern California right now? I am in Santa Ana for a continuing education course this week and the fires have been out of control.
All the hotels around here are full of firefighters brought in to help fight the blazes. One of the instructors almost lost her house - it is only a mile or so from one of the big fires. We can see big plumes of smoke and people's cars are coated with ash. Luckily the air quality isn't too bad - the wind seems to be blowing the smoke elsewhere.
Allen, I believe we have two strike teams there.
Journey, I'm not impressed that your time only beats me by 3min.
Im now accepting charity rides to cfo through friday.
sweet little baby jesus....Steven, I'm glad you are okay.
I'd be happy to pick you up tonite for the 5pm.

Thanks brad, I think i'll take you up on that offer... am I riding b**** on the bike? haha. You can check out my retired ride.
I wonder how good of a workout I can get if I hop myself up on vicodin beforehand
text me your address, I'll be there at 4:30, and no, you won't be riding pillion.
Re: Vicodin
1/2 the time you see me I'm on vicodin and you've seen my workouts!
Hey Steven, I hope you're OK! Did you break anything? Or did you just bounce your limber self up and starting beatin some ass? I would be livid if someone hit us while we were on the bike. I am always so freaked out when I see even the slightest swerve into my lane. Well, such is the thrill of riding a bike I suppose... Glad to see you're able to type at least ;)) Scary stuff though!
unfortunately I skipped the inverted burpee workout and was not capable of successfully performing one as I lept through the air.
just some scratches and bumps/bruises... feeling soar, but alive.
Yikes! Glad to hear you are okay, Steven.
Happy birthday, Hannah! You are fabulous.
Happy Birthday, Hannah!
Happy Birthday Hannah :)
Steven, I bet that Poptart in your pocket protected you from some serious puncture wounds.
Brad I thought only black rappers prayed to baby Jesus?
Poptarts? No way! I bet Steven had his pockets full of cupcakes to protect him. Steven, I'm glad you're okay. Lance said you sounded alright on the phone. Still, very scary. Done with the bike now?
Hannah, thanks for sharing your birthday morning with us! I hope you enjoy your "surprise" dinner!
Happy Birthday Hannah!
Steven, that sucks! Hope you're ok.
I am here freezing in Boston. I can't even begin to tell you how cold it is here.
Happy Happy Birthday, Hannah!! Hope you had a wonderful day...
Steven, the mom in me wants to bring you chicken soup and flick you in the head all at the same time. But mostly, I'm so glad you are ok... Let us know if you need anything.
With Steven's luck, he'd probably just finally procured a batch of Betty's oatmeal raisin cookies...and they cushioned his fall. Anyway, glad you're ok!
