Sorry for the confusion. This is the site for wrist wraps and other weight lifting gear:

I still can't get over the fact that we had 12 teams on Saturday. I also cringe to think of what would it have been like to have JP, Manwell, P-Hole, Steve, Ben, Moses, Journey competing....
Is it 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. or p.m. for the seminar?
8pm to 930pm.
I will probably be there. I fully expect that I will go straight from not being able to do a muscle up to executing a flawless iron cross within the course of those 90 minutes. That seems reasonable to me.
I'll be there.
I like that you specified 8pm - 9:30pm Mike as if 8 - 9:30pm might have led Leigh to think that the seminar were an all day affair. When are we going to start having more 12+ hour CFO seminars? I would like one on time management, please:)
Sprinting tomorrow @ Piedmont High tomorrow at 6p.m.--all are welcome, distance revealed upon arrival ;)
How much is it for non-members? I have a friend who would like to join as well.
I'll do it
ill be there plus one.
Sweet. I'm glad there's plenty of interest in this. I'm looking forward to coaching the infamous CrossFit Oakland Crew! It should be lots of fun. Mike, why just settle for an iron cross? How about going straight for a maltese? (I think I'm going to have to plan out an expectations management seminar as well, lol.) Guys, be ready to do a gymnastics-style CrossFit WOD at the end of my class, so no complaining afterwards if you are already doing .COM before the class. Also remember that you're not neccessarily going to get a bunch of super-gymnastics moves from a 1+1/2 hour seminar. I will show you how to work on certain drills and movements that will enable you to acheive your goals but it's up to you to PRACTICE them on your own afterwards. Remember that coordination, agility, balance, accuracy, speed and power all require practice because they're not just physiological but they're neurological and that means that you have to obsessively work on certain elements over and over again until you get them. You can't get a solid handstand in an hour and a half class, but you can learn how to work on it so you can get it over time. If there is interest, and it is OK with Mike & Nicole, I will be glad to stay a little longer afterwards to help people with any specific personal requests for skills that they would like coaching on. I'll see you guys on Thursday.
Cheers,
-Drais
