We will be having a baby shower for Dawn and Gareth (and their son) this Saturday, May 28th at 2:30 to 4:30 at IronWorks Gym in Berkeley (in the yoga room). It's a potluck, so please sign-up for a dish on the white board at CFO! Please inquire with Nicole or Robyn if you're interested in pitching in for the baby's gift.

I would like to participate in the Fran off and I am excited for Dawn's shower. I will make pizza with really thin crust. That's sorta zoney, right?
Dawn, kids are super easy. You pop them out, keep their food bowl full and they pretty much take care of themselves. No, I don't have any of my own, but I know how these things work.
Not to derail this topic of the celebration of something beautiful; a new cfo member, but is anyone at CFO a mortgage broker or in the realestate business, we wanna buy a house and haven't a clue what to do.

Aaron - you should check with LB (Laura Blair), she's awesome and can help you with all things home-related.
Didn't Ed say he wouldd to tell CFO when he and his fellow officers would be able come down and participate in the HERO WOD with CFO
aaron, i suspect you'll hear this from LB, but regarding mortgages, don't go to a broker. that's fine sometimes, but right now the banks are getting money from the gummint, and they are lending at lower rates than brokers. it's an awesome time to borrow. good luck.
Regarding tonight's workout:
I'll be coaching at CFO tonight, but I'd strongly encourage anyone who wants to run at the Piedmont High Track to go there. When it comes to running 800 repeats, nothing beats running on a nice surface.
You'll be on your own for timing yourself, though, so if you go, make sure you take a stopwatch.
Dawn, I am a parent of no one, but that won't stop me from offering some really good advice.
1. Feed your children sugar early and often.
2. When they ask questions about the world around them, ignore their inquiries. If that does not work, say something that is demonstrably false.
3. The data are in and smoking has been conclusively shown to be a healthful habit. As soon as you can get them puffing away, do so.
4. Exercise in all its forms should be avoided.
Good habits are formed early. I have faith you will make the right decisions here. For those of you that are interested, I offer baby-sitting at very reasonable rates.
I'll be at the PHS track at 5. I have a stopwatch.
If anyone wants to roll with me to the OPD funeral tomorrow let me know.
