Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
Just incredibly sad and angry, so wrong.
Hi CFO, its Ed Tracey from OPD. Thank you for the post and your support. The last two days have been unreal. We lost some of our best officers yesterday. One was Sgt. Dan Sakai who is the warrior in the grey shirt next to Nicole in the photo.
We will get through this as a family. We thank you again CFO!!!
So incredibly senseless and sad. Thank you to all who serve us on the front lines every day.
An awful day for Oakland and the OPD. There are lots and lots of folks in this town that appreciate what you do every day. My condolences to the families of the murdered officers.
anyone want to do the past cycle (all 3 wod's) with me at 9?
fun stuff guaranteed.
Ed,
I am thinking about you, your fellow officers and your families.
Mike,
Any possibility that CFO could submit an OPD Hero WOD to the main site? Just a thought.
Ed:
My thoughts are with you guys and your families.
Angela
My heart hurts for OPD and all of their loved ones. Makes no sense... Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am so angry, sad and cunfussed about this senseless act of violence. WHY?

We are so sorry for your loss. We will remember your loved ones in gratitude. Our hearts are with you.
To the officers of OPD and their families, I feel your loss and we appreciate all the work you do to keep the streets safe.
I like Brandon B's idea. Even if HQ doesn't name a Hero WOD in their honor, we should come up with one and perform it at the next Community Day event.
Mike, I was thinking of the same thing in regards to a hero WOD. I will check with the families and follow up with you. This would be a great way to honor these heroes. Thanks again!!!
I want to third Brandon's idea... a hero WOD, whether head quarters or CFO derived, would be a great way for us to remember these fallen heroes.
Thank you again to Ed and all the OPD service men and women who work to keep us safe each day. My heart goes out to the friends and families of those gunned down.
Ed, our hearts go out to you and the entire OPD family. This loss of life is tragic and difficult to comprehend. I would like to see the hero WOD come from CFO.
Thank you to all of OPD and LEO everywhere for stepping up to serve day in and day out. This risk is always there and it's heartbreaking when the worst happens.
Words are not enough to express how heartbroken I am for the fallen officers and their families. God protect and keep you.
Words can't say how sad I feel for the fallen OPD officers, there families, and fellow officers as they try to deal with this senseless act of violence. My toughts and prayers are with you all.
I also think that a hero WOD would be a great tribute to hero's who gave there lives to protect us.
Ed,
I'll get to work on an OPD hero WOD right away.

Mike, give us a heads up on your OPD wod and we'll post at DCF too.
We'll gladly participate in any fundraising efforts for the families.
Great idea for the hero wod. Maybe we could suggest something along the lines of the "Hero Mashup" wod, test of endurance, courage & strength.
heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the opd officers tragically murdered.
Sincere condolences to the friends and families of the OPD officers who were killed. What a sad and tragic day for Oakland and the OPD. Thanks to all you brave men and women for your service.
A hero workout is definitely in order.
My heart goes out to those individuals involved in the tragic killings over the weekend, you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.
Perhaps the Hero WOD can be used to raise money for the families of the officers.
To The Families of the Fallen Officers and to OPD, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Thank you for your dedication and service.
I'm with Connie - we can do a Hero WOD fundraiser - something similar to the Fight Gone Bad Fundraiser - and ask that as many affiliates as possible participate.

So incredibly sorry to hear of the loss of these valiant men in the line of duty. Thank you to all the OPD for the work you do. May the strength of your community be a source of support and comfort to you and the families in these difficult days.
Team CFO, I told a group of OPD officers about your idea on the hero WOD and they were very appreciative. There are many officers who do CF at OPD and they love it.
Not only does CFO have a bunch of super athletes but you all are just a class act. We at OPD are extremely appreciative of your support.
When the time is right, I will bring the SWAT team down and we can all do the WOD together and celebrate the lives of these fallen heroes.
Take care all!
Sincerely,
Ed
