The OPD Hero Workout was a big success today.

Thank you to all who showed up today and contributed, both on the gym floor and off the gym floor.

We raised $1,800 for the families of the four officers killed today. Rest in peace, Sgt Mark Dunakin, Officer John Hege, Sgt Daniel Sakai, and Sgt Ervin Romans.

Hey all:

Had a great time doing the 'OPD' workout. It was cool to workout with people from all of the affiliates. Also shows that I have a long way to go in my training. When I get some extra scratch, i'll come in and workout with you guys one of these days.

Thanks!

manwell is on the juice!
on a more serious note; i think it would be great if we could make this an annual event. These officers and their families deserve on-going commemoration and continued community support.

I think more fundraisers is a must, our altruistic community is great at coming together for a cause, but then again crossfitters will jump at any excuse for a wod!

It was a privilege to be a part of the proceedings today. My thoughts are with the families of the slain officers. Pictures from today's workout can be found at:

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It was simply awesome to see all of you today pounding out the workout and doing your part to help out these wonderful families. As I stated earlier, you are all a class act and I have much respect for CFO. Mike and Nicole, you are two very special people. God bless you!

Awesome outcome at the Hero WOD yesterday! I'm sorry I missed all the action. Once again the CFO family showed it's generosity and love for the community.
I also wanted to thank you all for the kind gifts and party yesterday for the little guy growing inside of me. I will have to start running to justify the stroller!
Thank you CFO!

It was an honor to participate in the OPD WOD yesterday. Thanks to CFO for organizing.

RIP to our fallen brothers.

Thank you, CFO, for setting this up. A few of us ran the workout down in San Francisco yesterday to raise money for the families. That was a lot of weight, but we got it done! It was an honor.

Corrine, as prescribed: 27 minutes

Michael, as prescribed: 31 minutes.

Chris (185 lb DL; 85 lb PP): 22 minutes

Thanks everyone for the love & support, video highlights coming soon.

Thank you Mike and Nicole for doing this! It was a great turnout. Thanks to Leigh, Brendan, Susie and Ed for helping me get through the workout! :-)

it was awesome to be back at CFO training with everyone for such a good cause.

Thanks to everyone involved yesterday. What an amazing day! It was impressive to watch you all for many reasons.

Dawn, happy gestating. You are a beautiful, radiant vessel for life. Enjoy!

Thank you Mike, Nicole, CFO and Ed for an amazing day and providing the chance to do something positive.

My thanks to CFO for hosting this great tribute to the fallen.

I cannot tell you not just how saddened I was, but also extremely angry at the wrongheaded-Berkeleyish-"libral"-hand-wringing apologists for gangsterism who even mananged (yes really) to blame the police for this.

It gave something constructive to do with my anger and I am grateful.

The CFEB crew were all impressed with your operation and thankful to be able to participate.

Tip of the hat to Polly.
