I may go early on Sunday. I believe the admission fee for one day is $5.00. For all three days, I think it's $12.00.

Crossfit Oakland is officially listed as an Olympic Weightlifting Club. Yea!

Thanks Nicole and Mike for making that happen!

MJJ,

Please note that the above picture looks very similar to my split power clean.

looks like in the final thesis, Mini still has plenty of horsepower...he won the shoot-out against MJJ--

If by similar you mean his lifting singlet fits like your business suits...then yes you are correct.

And as far as the shoot-out with Mini let me just say in my defense, Mini only won because he beat me.

Oakland part 4 profiled on CFGames site!

Mike, Nicole, need a favor.

I need to win a performance of the day. Think what it would do for my self-esteem!

There's a bunch of ways you could make this happen. You could just substitute my name for Daniel's. Seeing how he gets the most POTDs and is most likely our best all-around CFO'er.

Or, maybe make up some sort of WOD that only I could do as RX. Not sure that exists, or if it's legal, but just maybe....?

Another way is to maybe get everyone in the box that nite and just have them go half-speed. I'm open to that!

Also, everyone who gets a POTD should get a shirt with the WOD, date and performance metric silkscreened in. CF Silicon Valley does this.

Okay, thanks in advance.

Brad,

Amrop Max reps talking/texting on phone durring any .com wod.

Partition the texting/talking as needed. If you've got a green Jameson hat and sunglasses earns, wear them.

Brandon - we need a witty response to the keyboard ninja named Don Draper, who posted the following on the games site...

"Is Crossfit Oakland even good? All of their "athletes" seem rich in slow twitch fibers and woefully lacking in ROM. Am I the only one who thinks Oakland is going to find themselves in the dank and dark confines of the cellar at the 2009 Affiliate Cup Competition?"

I know that this has nothing to do with the posting, but I just wanted to let all you know that your boy, Trisan, is reppin CrossFit Oakland at the Level 1 certification here at CrossFit San Diego coming in third with a Fran time of 4:34!

Probably could have done better but we did like 300 squats during the day leading up to it. Anyways, thanks guys for your inspiration and coaching!

Tristan

Right on Tristan! That's a great Fran time.

Nice work Tristan, way to represent!

tristan... but was it c2b!!??!?!?!
