The Femme Fit prep class that ran on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm was such a big success that we’ve decided to keep the ball rolling, so to speak.
We’re changing the name of the class to the CrossFit Competition class, which gives it the broader scope it deserves. The CrossFit Competition (CFC) class will be for anyone interested in competing in the sport of CrossFit, whether it be at a local throwdown, the Open, the Regionals or beyond. Whether you’re a neophyte competitor or a seasoned veteran, this class is for you.
The CFC class meets every Saturday at our Emeryville location, from 11am to 1pm (approximately). You can expect to be drilled with intensive skill work and progressions, strength work, and work capacity testing and training. In addition, we’ll be covering the mental side of the game as well (strategy, plan B scenarios, and the like). There is no additional charge for the class for CFO members. For non-CFOers, there’s a $20 drop-in fee.
If you’re competing in an upcoming local competition, make it a point to come to this class so that you can have all your bases covered heading into the competition.
The next major competition for the gym as a whole is the CrossTown Throwdown with CF Sweat Shop. There hasn’t been a date set, but the training for that competition is going to be a big focus of our CFC class.
Get after it, y’all!
