Last Saturday (and a few times this past week), we ran people through a series of tryout workouts for the Reindeer Games. We have two open teams registered, comprised of two men and two women per team. That means eight (8) total spots were up for grabs, based on how you did in the four tryout workouts.
First off, I want to thank everyone who came out and took part in the tryout workouts. I was there for the first workout on Saturday, and the atmosphere was electric! It was really great to see all of you bringing your A game.
Second, I want to thank Arnold for putting the workouts together and running everyone through them. It was a great, very fair test comprised of an Olympic lifting test and a muscle-up/handstand push-up test sandwiched in between two rough-and-tumble metcons. Each of the four tests were weighted evenly.
When it was all said and done, and after all the points were added up, here’s how it shook out, with the team rosters below.
Strong work by all, those who made it and those who didn’t. It was great seeing everyone push hard and testing their limits. And now it’s onto the CrossTown Throwdown, and then the Reindeer Games!
