Extending Open Workout 16.1 to Friday, Sunday, and Monday!

Although come Open time, our primary goal is to get everyone doing the workout together under one roof, due to the length and space-intensive nature of Open workout 16.1, we’re encouraging everyone who can to do the workout on Friday (today), Sunday (group classes on Sunday are at EGA–no Emeryville classes), or Monday, if possible. You can do them during your normal group class or during open gym on Friday or Monday.

If you’re someone who can do the workout on a day other than Saturday, let us know by emailing us at info@crossfitoakland.com. As it stands now, Robyn and Mike will be running their Intramural teams through 16.1 on Saturday, 4 athletes at a time (20 minutes per heat), so it will be a slow process.  Arnold will run his Intramural team through heats at EGA on Saturday (roughly 2 athletes at a time), and Tamara will run her Intramural team through heats at Uptown on Saturday (around 2 athletes at a time).  We need to spread everyone out in this situation to get everyone through in a reasonable time and in a safe way.
