We’re really excited to announce that Endgame Athletics/CrossFit EGA is hosting a Running Seminar with Aaron Castillo, our very own running & endurance coach on Sunday August 30th from 12:00pm 1:30pm.
Since 2011, Aaron (aka, “Coach Evil”) has worked with countless CFO, Uptown & EGA members, including CrossFit Games athletes Candace Hamilton Hester and most recently 60+ Masters Champion and Fittest Man on Earth, Steve Pollini. He currently serves as the running & track coach for Oakland Triathlon Club & their Juniors program, and works with several sport-specific athletes in soccer, lacrosse, road racers of all levels, and with the fine folks over at Title Nine HQ. He even coached and programmed for our CFO Tough Mudder team in 2012, earning him Best of the East Bay’s “Best Post-Apocalyptic Workout.”
Don’t miss your chance to work with Coach Evil as he only offers a few seminars throughout the year. This 90 minute clinic will help you discover and enjoy running in a whole new way! Here’s what you’ll get by attending the seminar:
* You’ll find out how to improve your technique & form while running injury-free learning The POSE Method
* You’ll improve your times for 5k up to full marathon distance or become a faster, more efficient CrossFitter during your favorite running WODs
* You’ll learn the basic approach to CrossFit Endurance methodology and how it might work for your goals
* You’ll come away with the skills to be able to attend our weekly track workouts on Sunday mornings
The cost for this seminar is $25 if paid by August 29th. Same-day walk-ins are also welcome but will be charged $30 at the door. This event is open to the general public (ages 10+), regardless of current fitness level. So, invite your friends & family, co-workers, teammates, or give the gift of running to someone you think might enjoy it. To reserve your spot today, click here: http://bit.ly/1MD1iuE
Please wear proper workout attire, running shoes, and bring a water bottle. We will be both indoors and outdoors, so sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are highly encouraged.
Come on and get your run on! See you there!
