CrossFit Oakland was established in 2005

Welcome to CrossFit Oakland, where fitness meets community, and every member is empowered to achieve their personal best. Founded in 2005 in Oakland, California, our gym is more than just a place to work out; it's a thriving community dedicated to health, strength, and camaraderie.

  • Why do all of your memberships include private training sessions?
    Our fitness program is intense by design because it works! We believe there is no better way to keep you progressing and safe in our group classes than with regular check-ins with your coach. During these sessions we help you clean up technique, work on imbalances in your body and learn new skills or whatever you want to work on. All of these private sessions are offered at a discounted rate to our members and are worked into your membership price.
  • Do you offer private training?
    Yes! If you are interested in private Training (individual, couple or small group), please sign up for a Free Introductory Session with one of our lead coaches.
  • Do you offer kid's classes?
    We offer a Teen Athlete program that meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm - 5pm. Please email us at info@crossfitoakland.com prior to joining this class so the coach can meet with your teen first.
  • I'm visiting from out of town, can I drop in?
    If you are an experienced CrossFitter (minimum of 6 months) and would like to drop in, please email us at info@crossfitoakland.com so we can enroll you into the class of your choice and answer any questions you may have. Contact us ahead of time and fill out our Drop-In Request Form.
